Developing for android is either it's like trying to hit a moving target as the platform is constantly changing, or it's like being on an abandoned ship as the proper docs are absurdly missing. 6+ years since the issue was reported, and we are still supposed to guess that MaterialDatePicker uses UTC timezone.
